Calls to submit or update tips are received through our Crime Stoppers Call Center. The call center staff will obtain the information for your tip and complete the tip information form. The information will then be forwarded to the Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida Law Enforcement Coordinator for action. The coordinator team makes initial inquiries and then passes the information to the appropriate jurisdiction for investigation. Calls are accepted regarding any publicized request for information, such as "Crime of the Week" or such other crime(s) the caller has knowledge of.
To check the status of your tip, call our Reward Line at 386-323-3536. This phone is a stand alone line which does not use caller ID, and conversations are not recorded. The Crime Stoppers representative receiving the call can check to see your tip has been closed, and if so, whether you are eligible for a reward.
By guaranteeing a caller's anonymity Crime Stoppers allows the caller to give information in a positive atmosphere without the prospect of retribution. By offering cash rewards for information leading to arrests, the program encourages otherwise reluctant callers to provide information.
